THE PATH OF THE IMMORTALS

Once you have reached Level 100, speak to the Great Sage of Light (Dragon City 567 634). It seems that yet another shadowy enemy is moving around.

You will be sent to The Twisting Nether. Survive for four minutes!

After surviving the Twisting Nether, you will be sent to the Sage of Forces Wan Jun (Dragon City 538 673). He will lend you the Soul Lamp for your second run.

It’s back to the Twisting Nether once more. Survive for ten minutes this time!

Return to the Sage of Forces (Dragon City 538 673). Something seems to have gone wrong with the Soul Lamp. He urges you to go to the Cunning Immortal in Heaven as soon as possible

The Cunning Immortal (Secluded Residence, Heaven 480 506) is busy, but you have an important thing to discuss, so don’t let up.

It turns out that in using the Soul Lamp, you have ingested some dangerous spirits. In history, only the Revered One has done so, and at a very great cost. To be able to meet this esteemed person, you must undergo some difficult training. Thus, the Cunning Immortal (Secluded Residence, Heaven 480 506) has instructed you to go out into the world and gain more experience by destroying these dangerous beings:

30 Savage Ghouls (Ancient Kylin Forest)
30 Wraith Vanguard (Ancient Heaven-Tear City)
30 Icewind Leaders (Ancient Scar Valley)

NOTE: You must have unlocked the Wheel of Time and Space rifts to Kylin Forest and Scar Valley in order to complete this quest.

After hunting down the creatures, return to the Cunning Immortal (Secluded Residence, Heaven 480 506) in order to begin the process of meeting the Revered One in Shenwu Valley. You will need to collect the following materials in order to create the Soul-Summoning Flag:

Staves of Power from Icewind Snipers
Robes of Life from Icewind Priests
Sources of Spirit from Snow Mount Squatters.

All of these monsters can be found in the Ancient Scar Valley Rift in the Wheel of Time and Space.

Now that you have the Soul-Summoning Flag, return to the Cunning Immortal (Secluded Residence, Heaven 480 506) for the next component you need to break whatever seal is placed on the Revered One. To do this, you need to create the Cinnabar Blood Talisman.

The Talisman Paper can be found on Fiery Snakes in the Sealed Moon Desert Rift.
Note: You must have unlocked the Sealed Moon Desert Rift of the Wheel of time and Space to complete this quest.

Once you have found the Talisman Paper, you need to find Cinnabar. This rare spice grows in veins that can be found in age-old hot gas emissions. One such place is Joy Luck Valley (384 561) in Shenwu Valley.

After collecting both the Talisman Paper and the Cinnabar, you will need 10 Celestial Tea to complete the Cinnabar Blood Talisman. Once you have completed the components, speak to the Sage of Forces Wan Jun (Dragon City 538 673) and he will create the Talisman.

Now that all the preparations are complete, you are ready to release the seal on the Revered One’s totem. The Cunning Immortal (Secluded Residence, Heaven 480 506) has one last piece of advice. The three items needed to break the seal are in Shenwu Valley (86+). They are:

Aura of Five Elements from the Corpse General.
Blue Tide Stone from the Dark General.
Hundred Year Tigershark Tooth from the Supreme Commander.

After you have found the three items, look for the Monument holding the seal on the Revered One (Joy Luck Valley 401 556). Embed the items and get ready to break the seal!

The two Soul Chains you need to break are near the entrance of Joy Luck Valley.

Use the Seal to release the Revered One’s corrupted body, and get ready to fight!

Destroy the corrupted shell and release the Revered One’s spirit!

The Revered One’s Soul has moments left before oblivion… Dispel the evil energies tainting the soul in order for it to reincarnate properly.

Return to the Cunning Immortal (Secluded Residence, Heaven 480 506) and report that the Revered One’s soul has properly ascended. By containing the evil presence without being consumed you have reached new heights of Enlightenment.
