Chapter 1: Hitsuzen
The suburbs of sword city. It was a peaceful and lush place. the humans of sword city and the nearby villages come here in search for herbs and hunt for food. As they hunters continue their search for food, one of the hunters noticed a beam of light shining through the clouds.

Hunter 1: What is that?!
Hunter 2: Are you seeing things again?
Hunter 1: No.. Look. (points at the beam of light)
Hunter 2: What in the... We gotta go to the source nearby!
Hunter 1: Yes... It might be something good... or bad....

Soon, the hunting team went to the source of the beam of light, which was actually behind the huge mountain in front of Sword City. As they went closer, they saw figures coming out of the beam of light.

Fai: Well, that was a bit uneasy..
kurogane: blame that on the steamed white bun we have here.
Mokona: I'm not a white bun! and besides, it was Kuro who was trying to ruin the trip.
Kurogane: What did you say?!
Fai: Mokona does have a point, Kurogane. Right before we left you tried to shake mokona because he was just fooling around with you. He got his revenge. hihi.
Kurogane: Fai! Why i outta-
Mokona: Puu!(jumps on Kurogane's head) baka! baka!
Kurogane: Are you trying to pick a fight?!
Fai: Oh come on Kuro.. Don't you have a sense of humor?

While Fai and Mokona are tripping on Kurogane and his serious side, 2 other figures appeared, one of which, is a frail young girl.

Syaoran: Are you alright, Sakura?
Sakura: I'm fine... Thanks Syaoran.
Syaoran: Good. It seems we've arrived into another new world...
Sakura: hopefully... We'll be able to find my lost memories here...
Syaoran: We will. I promise.

soon, the hunters approached Syaoran and friends and starting to talk to them about their journeys. syaoran told them everything; from their demise from the Clow Kingdom to their adventures in Oto. soon after hearing their journeys, the hunters went to Sakura and Syaoran.

Hunter 1: We've decided to let you guys stay at the eremites village.
Hunter 2: But sooner or later, you might be called by the imperial court at Dragon city.
Syaoran: It's alright. and thank you for the hospitality.
Voice: Wait just a moment!

soon, a large burning rock fell near Syaoran and friends, and a dust cloud appeared. as the dust settled, they saw a man whose armor is shining and surging with electricity; He is one of the immortals: The empire's greatest warriors who vowed to protect the land should the need arises.

Syaoran: who are you?
Kurogane: And whay did you do what?!
Coldflare: Greetings, travelers from another world. I am Coldflare, immortal of the Merciless Steel. I have come here due to the shining beam of light that came through here. And It seems that you might be responsible for that.
Fai: Well, sorry for any damage that we might have done.
Coldflare: Explanations later, for now you must prove your worth. i challenge any of you to a duel! Should I win, you must leave this realm at once! Otherwise, I shall inform the other immortals of your prescence and that you might be of good use to the empire.
Kurogane: Say what? We're here looking for Sakura's feathers and you're just gonna block our way! Why I outta-
Syaoran: i accept.
Kurogane: What?! Are you serious?!
Syaoran: Yes. this is for Sakura's sake. I know for sure her feathers are here. And I'll do anything to get them back.
Fai: don't try to stop him, Kuro. He's determined to do this for Sakura.
Sakura: Syaoran..
Syaoran: It's alright. I'll be fine.
Coldflare: You're bravery and compassion amuses me, young Syaoran. but it wont help you now!

soon, Coldflare summoned forth his twin moonblades, enchanted with magic so that he can cast spells while he fights.

Syaoran: I'm ready when you are.

Syaoran unsheated his sword, whose metal blade has engulfed in flames. Soon, Syaoran lifted his sword and pointed it towards Coldflare.

Syaoran: It's time.
Coldflare: Very well then. Let's start.

The field was dead silent. the wind was blowing violently. A furious battle is about to begin...

Next chapter in the works. I have to remodify Coldflare's character a bit and made his weapon into something that is similar to that of Illidan Stormrage's twin moonblades(but it is considered as a wheel, right?) And as much as possible, I'll try to stick to the immortal descriptions in the blog of the immortals.

I hope you guys will enjoy this one as much as the last fanfic.

Commendable work, but you have turned me into a duel-hungry assassin. As it is, I expect you not to make me too merciless, as that is already a fragment of my past.

And yes, I do wear a blindfold - the avatar might not reveal it, though.

oh, I somewhat apologize.. ^^;; I'll try to make your character a bit less merciless and more calmer. hopefully, I'll be able to get it right, this time...

Chapter 2: Frailty
Syaoran stared at Coldflare, and Coldflare, although wearing a blindfold, knew Syaoran will not make his move,thus they stand. waiting for each other to make their move. Soon, Coldflare began to talk.

Coldflare: hmmm... waiting on me?
Syaoran: I move when you move.
Coldflare. You're smart. However can you try to evade this?

Coldflare suddenly disappeared and in a blink of an eye, was right behind Syaoran, Syaoran quickly moved back and made his stance.

Syaoran: impressive. but you missed.
Coldflare: you think?


Suddenly, syaoran was hit by a intense brand of fire. Coldflare started his assault, jumping above Syaoran and placed his twin moonblades in front of him, but Syaoran dodged the attack, jumping and swinged his sword, unleashing a wave of fire. Coldflare evades and tries to cast the Hail of Doom, but then Syaoran went in front of him and kicked him on the side. Coldflare, though hurt by the kick, was able to recover and atatcked Syaoran. Soon, it became a melee battle, with Syaoran's fire blade fending off Coldflare's twin moonblades. At the heat of the battle, the two were on a standstill. Trying to push each other off with their blades.

Coldflare: I must admit, you're a worthy opponent.
Syaoran: I might say the same for you.
Coldflare: But it will take more than sheer power to beat me.
Syaoran: What do you mean?
Coldflare: This! wings of the Phoenix!

Soon, Syaoran was pushed back by the force of the Phoenix and was subsequently burned.

Sakura: Syaoran!
Kurogane: No!
Fai: Don't worry. Syaoran will be alive.

Syaoran was unable to move as he was burning mid-air, then Coldflare made his move, however as he approached syaoran, in a blink of an eye, Syaoran was able to block the attack and push Coldflare away from him. Yet, they both landed on the ground, standing.

Syaoran: Look's like we're even.
Coldflare: That makes the two of us. but me thinks we should really settle this.
Syaoran: i agree.
Coldflare: Prepare to meet your demise!
Syaoran: You're on!

Soon, they charged towards each other one last time, but as they are about to do the killing blow, lightning struck between the two of them causing them to fall back. Soon, a voice was heard.

Voice: Coldflare! Enough! This fight is uncalled for!
Coldflare: It can't be!

Soon, from the heavens descended a man with Wings and with armor glowing and flowing with electricity. He is also an immortal, much like Coldflare.

Kurogane: who are you?
Syaoran: And why did you interfere with our battle?
ZhuanXu: I must stop this battle for it is uncalled for. Please forgive Coldflare for his actions. And.. my name is ZhuanXu. The old emperor of the North, the Immortal of the Calm Moon and the leader of the Immortals.

Then I guess you never really knew my ColdFlare then. I myself have sparred with him, magic blade to magic blade, and though that may not be a fight to the death, I do know how he fights both on the field and one-on-one.

Chapter 3: In the City of the Dragon

Syaoran and friends stared in awe as ZhuanXu appeared in front of them. Then ZhuanXu approached ColdFlare, glaring at his blindfold.

ZhuanXu: You do realized that's not the way we treat guests.
ColdFlare: I know, milord. But I was driven by the fact they're unknown entities from another realm. They might be a threat to us.
ZhuanXu: Yes. But that doesn't mean you'll go aggressive on them all of a sudden.
ColdFlare: I understand. Forgive me for my rudeness.
Syaoran: It's alright.
Fai: Yep. It's fine with us. Kuro was like that when we first saw him.
Kurogane: What did you say?
Mokona: Yeah! Kuro is such a ox!
Kurogane: Say what! come here you steamed white bun!!!
ZhuanXu: hahaha *laughs* Seems you must be a crazy bunch... So what made you come to our world?
Syaoran: You see milord, Sakura lost her feathers that contained fragments of her memory. We have gone through different worlds in search of her feathers. It just happened that we arrived here.
ZhuanXu: I see... I would love to hear of your adventures, but for now, please come with us. General Xia wishes to meet people like you. He is in the palace in Dragon City.
Sakura: I dunno... Syaoran... Are gonna be alright with this?
Syaoran: Don't worry, everything will be fine. I know we can trust these Immortals.
ColdFlare: Indeed. We can be of good use in your quest in the near future.
ZhuanXu: Most of the Immortals know the realm well, and can help you in your quest. Now, please ride on our mounts. We have reserved them for you and your friends. We have little time to waste.
Syaoran: Yep. Kuro! Fai! Mokona! We must leave! We don't have time to waste!
Fai: Right. Kuro! Stop fooling around and lets go already!
Kurogane: Right, but first let me stretch Mokona a bit...
Mokona: Ouch! ouch! Ouch!!! It hurts!!
Kurogane: Want more? Then I'll give-ouch! *faints*
Fai: come on, Kuro-kun, you can have your fun later *drags Kuro and mounts him into Fai's ride*
ZhuanXu: Very well then. We're all set. and now, we're off!

Soon, Syaoran, Sakura and their friends followed ZhuanXu and Coldflare through the woods of the Green Wave Yard and passing through the banner slope. Finally after a few hours, they arrived at Dragon City, the Capital of the Realm. Moments later, they arrived at the Palace, as they walked through the main courtyard, they saw hundered upon hundred of Servants in front of the Palace, genuflecting as syaoran passed through, Soon they entered the imperial throne room, but all they saw was the Scintillating Throne of Jade with 3 swords thrust into the Throne. Soon they heard a voice.

Voice: You might be wondering why there are 3 swords stuck on the throne.
Syaoran: Who are you? And yes. Why are those swords on the throne?
Voice: There were 3 of us at the time of the old emperor's death. Because there was no heir to the throne, we promised to lead the empire in his place until a new Heir was found and the mandate of Heaven be found.

Soon, a man appeared. He was bald, barrel-chested and his Armor shining like the sun.

General Xia: Greetings, Travelers from the distant world. I am General Xia, one of the 3 Generals that rule the realm of Pangu.

Chapter 4: Benevolence

General Xia stood in front of Syaoran and his friends. Coldflare and ZhuanXu then stood beside the General.

ColdFlare: He, alongside General Zhong and General Yi, are the rulers of the realm of Pangu until a new heir has been found.
ZhuanXu: It has been many years since the emperor's death, yet the the heir was never found.
ColdFlare: Those years we're times of trouble for the land. Wars and battles between the guardians of the land and the Soulless have become countless and more and more innocents lives have been slaughtered in the battles.
ZhuanXu: Even we immortals have a hard time dealing with the soulless.
General Xia: Indeed these times are hard for the Empire, although your coming was sudden. However, might i ask, why did you come here?
Syaoran: We came here in search of Sakura's feathers.
General Xia: Feathers?
Fai: You see, those feathers contain fragments of Sakura's memory and soul.
Kurogane: Without those fragments, Sakura will be frail and weak, it might even lead to her death.
Syaoran: We came to this world through Mokona. And we've been through different worlds searching for her feathers.
General Xia: Interesting... i wish to hear more about your adventures.
ZhuanXu: I agree. I do believe it's time for you to tell more about what you've accomplished in the other realms...

So syaoran and friends started to tell their stories; their origins, how they got together, their adventures in the different lands and more about their adversaries and their mishaps in the different lands. General Xia was impressed about their stories and was seen smiling.

General Xia: I'm impressed. All of you working hard to find Sakura's feathers. She must be really important to all you, especially to you, Syaoran.
Syaoran: That's because i love Sakura. And I don't want to lose her.
ZhuanXu: Such is the power of love.
General Xia: Indeed. Sakura, do you feel the same for Syaoran?
Sakura: Yes... I may not have him in my memories, but I know that I love him and that he will always be there to support and protect me.
General Xia: I understand. Also, I must apologize. The other 2 Generals are away and most likely they won't be here soon. In the meantime, why don't you enjoy yourselves in the palace? I will call on the Imperial Chef and ask him to prepare a great banquet for your arrival?
Syaoran: Well...
ZhuanXu: you, it's a great honor and privilege to eat dinner alongside one of the highest ranking officials in the realm...
Syaoran: Alright.
General Xia: Then it's settled! Tonight, we feast!

And a feast is what they got. Food was everywhere and the drinks were flowing. Guests, both aristocrats and commoners alike have come to the palace to celebrate the arrival of Syaoran and his friends. As they are celebrating, Kurogane, Fai and Mokona are doing some... well... silly things...

Fai: Hey Kuro! you're chomping down too much!
Kurogane: shut up! I'm hungry since yesterday!
Fai: Figures, I guess you're a pig then.
Mokona: Yeah! A greedy pig who doesn't care about us.
Kurogane: Shut up! I nneed the food badly you know.
Mokona: Puu! *jumps on Kuro's head* Hey, just give me some more food!
Kurogane: *grabs mokona on the ears* Listen you gluttonous rabbit, all i want is food and there's nothing you can do to force me to give you food!
Fai: Oh come on Fai, just give Mokona some food will ya?
Mokona: Yeah..
Kurogane: No! and don't expect me to give him some.
Fai: Very well then, *hits Kurogane with a short club*
Kurogane: WHY THE HECK DID YOU THAT?!
Mokona: *steals a whole chicken* Puu!
Kurogane: come back here with my Chicken!
Mokona: No! it's mine!

As chaos ensued, Syaoran and Sakura were at the Balcony, staring at the stars.

Sakura: Hey Syaoran...
Syaoran: Yes, Sakura?
Sakura: Are you sure we can find my feathers here?
Syaoran: We may never know. but for the time being we should stay. I know that somewhere in this world, those feathers are waiting.
Sakura: Yes.
Syaoran: But for now, let's enjoy this.

Then Syaoran and Sakura kissed under the moonlight, knowing that tomorrow, they start their journey to look for Sakura's feathers.

Chapter 5: The Wolf and the Fox
The Next day, Syaoran and friends were at the courtyard of the Imperial Palace. They started to discuss their plans regarding their search of the feathers.

Syaoran: Well then... Me thinks we should start looking for the feathers. We have little time to waste.
Fai: Wait a minute Syaoran... Are you working a bit too hard?
Kurogane: Yeah... I know you're doing this for Sakura, but I think the both of you need a good rest for the time being.
Syaoran: What do you mean?
Sakura: They have a point, Syaoran. I know you really want to search this realm for my memories, but we should enjoy ourselves for a bit.. You know, just to get the feel of the place.
Kurogane; Don't worry though, we'll look for your feathers in your place.
Mokona: Yeah.. You need the rest!
Syaoran: Thanks for the concern guys... Very well then. Sakura, wanna explore the city for the time being?
Sakura: Sure! I hope we can find some good items here!
Kurogane: just leave everything to us!
Mokona: Yep! Me, Fai and Kuro-puppy here will take care of the rest!
Kurogane: Yeah and-what did you just say, steam bun?!
Mokona: *Jumps over kurogane's head* Puu!
Kurogane: Why i outta-
Mokona: Pupupuu!!! *runs away*
Kurogane: COME BACK HERE YOU STEAMED BUN!!!!
Fai: ah, those two really do match..
Syaoran: Will you guys be alright?
Fai: don't worry about us. We'll be alright.
Syaoran: Alright then, goodluck!
Fai: Thanks. Have fun you two!

As Fai starts to walk away, Kurogane chases Mokona on a long, wild goose chase that led them through the markets of the western portion of the city, smashing everything in sight.

Mokona: Pupupupupuuu!!!!
Kurogane: come back here you steamed white bun!
Vendor 1: Hey! My goods!
Vendor 2: You tried to destroy my goods! come back here!
Kurogane: Mokonaaaaaaaa!!!!!
Mokona: Puu!!!

The chase goes on until all of a sudden, Kurogane bumps on a huge Stone Golem.

Kurogane: *bumps on the stone golem* OUCH!!!!

Kurgane falls on the ground, Mokona looked at him with a smile.

Mokona: Poor you... Because of your ignorance, you bumped on a golem.
Kurogane: Just shut up.
Voice: Oh, you (censored)! Look what you've done to my golem!

Kurogane stood up. He saw a female whose beauty was very attractive yet seductive.

Woman: You should watch where you're going next time.
Kurogane: It aint my fault. If you only moved your golem to the side, none of this would've happened.
Woman: Now you say it's my fault? How rude!
Kurogane: Hey you can't blame me, I'm chasing this evil steam bun here! *holds mokona on the ears*
Mokona: Unfair! Unfair!
Kurogane: You don't have the right to say that!
Mokona: Wait! Puu! *Mokona's eyes open* A feather! It's inside the golem!
Kurogane: What?! Hey you, woman. Where did you get the magic feather inside the golem?
Woman: Your rudeness is starting to irritate me. anyway, this feather came from the sky. Why? You want it?
Kurogane: That feather contains the memories of a friend on mine. We need it badly.
Woman: So it contains memories eh... That explains the strong power inside.
Kurogane: Just give it back already! You know it doesn't belong to you.
Woman: You have to fight me and my golem first.
Kurogane: A two on one duel? Very well then, I never do back down to a fight. Even if the odds are against me.
SuiMei: You're brave. I like you. By the way, My name is SuiMei, the Immortal of the Pristine Woods. If you wish to have your friend's feather back, you'll have to fight me first.

The vendors and the bystanders stand aside and watched as the Immortal and the Warrior come face to face, a furious fight is about to begin, in the eternal city of the Dragon.
